Bucks County Women's Fund Reaches Out: Two Local Businesswomen Chair Speakers' Bureau

Doylestown, PA - The Bucks County Women's Fund is creating a Speakers' Bureau to carry its message of advocacy, gender equity, social change and philanthropy among women and girls. Pam Carroll of Carroll Consulting Group, Jamison, and Maria Evans, of Martino Evans Communications, Pipersville, have been appointed to co-chair the Speakers' Bureau, which will be overseen by Gina F. Rubel, member of the Board of Directors.

Comprised of leading women from throughout the county, the Speakers' Bureau will promote the Fund by teaching people in Bucks County to Advocate, Speak up and Know (A.S.K.).

Pam Carroll is chief creative officer at Carroll Consulting Group, a strategic public relations and marketing firm, specializing in the healthcare, education, non-profit association management, technology, B2B and small business markets. She holds membership in the Public Relations Society of America, is certified by the American Society of Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations and serves as Ambassador for the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce. A founding member of the Women's Business Forum of Bucks County, she serves as Vice President.

President of Martino Evans Communications, Maria Evans has developed and implemented marketing and public relations plans for more than 20 years. She specializes in PR for small business and business communications. She serves as President-Elect and is a life member of the Women's Business Forum of Bucks County, and is a member of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, where she works on the Entrepreneurial Assistance Committee. She volunteers with Twilight Wish Foundation and serves on the Friends of the Library Board in Doylestown. Evans is also an adjunct professor of Marketing in the MBA program at Delaware Valley College.
