Managed entirely by women, this nonprofit public foundation was incorporated in 1990. Essentially, the Bucks County Women’s Fund raises money to fund and support programs and policies that impact, empower and improve the lives of women and girls throughout the county.
Unyielding in the pursuit of women’s rights, the Fund seeks to become Bucks County’s premier authority on the issues impacting women and girls, as well as an important agent for social change. With such advocacy power at hand, the organization can accelerate its primary goal of investing in women’s lives and girls’ futures, helping to achieve a society that values, respects and supports all women.
To this end, the Fund seeks to raise significant resources to create change, transform lives, and make a real difference in the community. The Fund partners with innovative grant recipients - the agencies that provide critical programs for women and girls - and community leaders as well as individuals and corporations.
Lastly, the Bucks County Women’s Fund is further strengthened by membership in the Women’s Funding Network, an international partnership of women and girls’ foundations, donors and their allies all committed to social justice.
