Celebration Honors BucksWomen100
BucksWomen100 donors were honored recently at Andalusia in Bensalem. Guests were welcomed by Gayle Goodman, board president, while they enjoyed breathtaking views of the Delaware River and the striking architecture, beautiful grounds and captivating history offered by Andalusia.
The atmosphere and the lovely music of Pam Carmasine, student musician from Pennsbury High School, set a memorable stage for the event. A special thank you to Kristin Biddle, who kindly allowed the fund to host the event at Andalusia.
The event was held to show appreciation to BucksWomen100 donors, who gave $500 or more to the Fund last fiscal year, and present them with a small token of appreciation. Guests witnessed the unveiling of the purse symbol as each BucksWomen100 member received a purse pin custom-designed by LisaBeth Weber as a thank you for their leadership, power and faith in the BCWF. Gayle explained, "The pin is one of only 100 made - for the first 100 women who make a commitment to the BCWF to donate $500 or more in a fiscal year. You'll see that symbol carried out quite a bit in the year to come and you are the first to see it and first to wear it!"

Kathy Beveridge, BCWF executive director added, "The purse symbol represents the power of women's philanthropy and the power of your trust in the Fund and support for the women and children of Bucks County. Our accomplishments this year were made possible by you, our BucksWomen100 members."
BucksWomen100 Women: Thank you for your power, your faith and your leadership! We hope you'll wear your pin with pride - and inspire others to join you as a member and leader.
