Open House Kicks Off Listening Year

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Women's Fund will begin a year of listening to community needs and ideas with an open house at the nonprofit public foundation's new offices.

Donors, supporters, grant recipients and the general public are invited to join the Fund from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 956 Town Center Office Park, New Britain. There is no charge for the event; light refreshments will be served.

"We want everyone to help us celebrate the new office space and meet Kathleen Welsh Beveridge, our new executive director. As we begin our listening year, we hope everyone will come, share ideas and offer input on the critical needs and issues facing Bucks County women and girls,” said Gayle Goodman, board president.

Acquiring the office space and hiring an executive director fulfill two of BCWF's initial goals in growing the Fund for maximum community impact.

"As our listening year begins, we will be soliciting input from the community. We will start with the open house, and then hold a series of focus groups with the ultimate goal of having a greater positive impact on the lives of women and girls in our county,” Beveridge said.

Please RSVP by Wednesday, Sept. 12. To RSVP and learn more about the open house, please call 215.345.5440 or send an email to event@bcwf.org.
