In our 20th Anniversary year, you have the power... to have a great time with friends, pick up some exciting prizes and auction items, and learn about the incredible philanthropy of local women and agencies-all while benefiting local women, girls, and families. Plan now to join The Bucks County Women's Fund for our 20th Anniversary grantmaking dinner and celebration of Bucks County women's philanthropy on Thursday, March 11, 2010.
Our theme, The Power of the Purse, is focused on the power of women's philanthropy. We expect 500 participants to be amazed by the work of the agencies selected to receive BCWF funding this year, and thrilled by the items offered in our silent auction, including many purse and bag-related items. We will award a new round of grants and raise awareness about the importance of women's leadership and philanthropy by honoring our founders and celebrating our grantees in our landmark 20th year.
Emcee Lynn Doyle, anchor/executive producer at The Comcast Network and host of It's Your Call with Lynn Doyle, will add to the fun and excitement of the evening.
This event will help raise money for future grants and programs of the Bucks County Women's Fund that tackle inequity and empower women to improve their lives and communities.
